Couple sought in Colorado homicide, missing persons case seen in Lamar County

Two suspects wanted in Colorado in connection to a homicide and a missing person’s case were spotted in Lamar County.

About 2:30 a.m. Saturday, the truck belonging to a missing person last seen in Colorado was recovered in a parking lot in the 2700 block of Oak Grove Road.

Johnny Rankin Morris and Hailey Cole were believed to be traveling in the F-150.

Video footage shows the suspects walking in an easterly direction towards Hattiesburg.

Morris was seen in the video wearing blue jeans and a dark colored short sleeve T-shirt. Cole was last seen wearing a light colored hoodie. They should be considered armed and dangerous.

Morris and Cole have ties to the Stone County and Picayune area. If you see them, do not approach but dial 911 or contact your local law enforcement agency.
