Couple robs Vancleave man at gunpoint

A Mobile, Alabama couple is facing armed robbery charges after Jackson County authorities say they held up a Vancleave man.
Forty-four-year-old James Pryor and 29-year-old Jefardrian Hall were arrested for allegedly robbing the victim after offering him a ride home from a Biloxi casino. The couple agreed to give the victim a ride to exit 57 on interstate 10. During the ride home, Hall pretended to be sick and Pryor pulled over. Sheriff Ezell says Pryor jerked the back door open and pointed a gun at the victim. A fight followed and the gun went off.
The victim told deputies he thought the gun had struck him in the head because he passed out and his head was bleeding when he woke up. The man’s boots, money, wallet, and phone were taken.
The couple remains jailed in Mobile pending extradition to Jackson County.
