Couple Arrested for Slew of Crimes in Jackson County

Two people believed to have committed crimes in D’Iberville and Jackson County, as well as two other states, are now behind bars.
John Navolt and Tamika Raley were arrested after allegedly shoplifting and using a stolen credit card a few hours earlier. Deputies found the truck they were driving which was also reported stolen. Deputies found the stolen merchandise and the stolen credit cards along with a box of ammo inside the vehicle. Deputies later found another car that was believed to have been stolen by the couple.
Jackson County deputies later arrested the two at a hotel. They are being held on multiple charges. Officials tell News 25 more charges are expected for each suspect.
