Countdown to the Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon
GULF COAST, Miss. (WXXV)- The Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon, one of the region’s premier endurance events and a celebration of coastal running culture, is preparing its 10th anniversary race weekend.
It’s scheduled for Saturday, December 13 and Sunday, December 14.
This event will welcome thousands of runners, families, and spectators to experience the beauty, energy, and hospitality of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Founded in 2016, the Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon has grown into a multi-day running festival offering a distance for every participant from first-time runners to elite competitors.
The anniversary weekend will feature the full marathon, the half marathon, Hippie Fish 5K, kids marathon, and a variety of community events.
