Coroner’s Office reveals cause of death for three-year-old girl murdered in Picayune
The Pearl River County Coroner’s Office has released the cause of death for the three-year-old girl murdered in Picayune earlier this week.
According to the coroner’s office, Aurora Enfinger died of significant blunt force trauma to the head and abdomen. She also had a lacerated liver.
Authorities also say the blunt force trauma was inflicted by Aurora’s stepmother, Samantha Enfinger.
Samantha Enfinger was arrested Thursday on charges of capital murder.
The investigation into the murder of Aurora is underway. WXXV News 25’s Marco Bitonel is gathering information and reactions to the case in Picayune today.
