Cornerstone Restaurant in Gautier celebrates 25 years

The Cornerstone Restaurant in Gautier turned 25 today.

The community came together to celebrate this milestone with a ribbon cutting ceremony and a proclamation from the mayor.

Cornerstone once started as a deli and over the years has expanded to one of the hot spot restaurants in town.

The restaurant offers a variety of seafood options, but is famously known for their ‘greater tater,’ an overstuffed potato.

As a way to celebrate and give back to their customers, Cornerstone held drink and meal specials along with a gift card drawing throughout the day. Owner Gwen White said, “Some of our customers have been with us since day one and they are still here today. Some of them, when they call, we already know what they are going to order. Either the waitresses know what they want when they come in, they know where they want to sit. The whole community is just amazing.”
