Construction continues on new Helena fire station

JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- Construction of the new Helena Fire Station is moving right along according to Jackson County Fire Protection.

Workers were in the process of floating drywall when crews stopped by to check out the progress.

This station is being built on Saracennia Road just north of the Wildwood Road intersection.

This station will service the Helena community and surrounding communities replacing the former fire station on Coda Road.
