Construction continues on Bayview Boardwalk in Biloxi
Construction work is moving fast on the new boardwalk set to line Bayview Avenue on Biloxi’s Back Bay.
Workers are busy building the infrastructure and framework of the boardwalk which will stretch from Forest Avenue to Kensington Drive once complete.
As work continues, a pavilion and benches will be added for local residents to enjoy.
The total cost for the project is $3 million and is being paid for using Go Mesa funding. Vincent Creel with the City of Biloxi said, “Just the other day they installed the lighting, they’ve done a lot of the concrete panels that need to be done, and it’s probably going to be just a few more months before we’re ready to let the public enjoy it, but you can see the progress every day”
Bayview is set to join an extensive network of boardwalks in Biloxi, including locations such as West End and Point Cadet.
