Connecticut Bans Travel To Mississippi
Connecticut becomes the fourth state to ban state-funded travel to Mississippi after Governor Bryant signed the religious accommodations act into law.
Democratic Governor Dannel Mallory is criticizing the law as discriminatory and has announced the cost of travel to the magnolia state will not be covered.
He recently banned travel to North Carolina as well in response to a different law regarding the LGBT community there.
Connecticut joins New York, Vermont, and Washington in banning state funded travel to Mississippi.
