Congressman Ezell joins efforts to reintroduce ‘Save our Shrimpers Act’
Congressman Mike Ezell is joining a bipartisan group to reintroduce the Save our Shrimpers Act.
This legislation would prohibit federal funds being made available to international financial institutes to finance activities relating to shrimp, farming, and more.
The Save our Shrimpers Act of 2025 aims to limit foreign shrimp operations through IFI and would also trigger investigations within the U.S. Government Accountability Office.
Congressman Ezell released a statement saying: “Our tax dollars should support American workers” and that he is “proud to join others in reintroducing the Save our Shrimpers Act.”
