Congressional candidate public meeting in Ocean Springs

One man aspiring to revamp government within the state of Mississippi held a town hall meeting at Ocean Springs Middle School this evening.
Congressional candidate E. Brian Rose hosted the hour long event. His goal was to share his point of view and hear feedback from residents on important issues facing South Mississippi and the nation.
Topics included the new healthcare reform bill, government spending, taxes and the state’s unemployment rate. “The very title is representative and if they’re no longer representing the people it’s time for a change and I think the people are looking forward to a change. They want somebody in Washington that represents the values of South Mississippi and we’re just not getting that right now,” said Rose.
Shea Dobson, who is running for Ocean Springs mayor, was in attendance as well addressing more local issues with the crowd.
