Competitors face off in the Smokin’ the Coast BBQ competition over the weekend in Biloxi

Smokin’ the Coast wrapped up Saturday evening in Biloxi.

If you were driving down 90 with the windows down, it was pretty hard to miss the great smells coming from Smokin’ the Coast as everyone came together for a taste of good barbecue and great fun.

The two-day barbeque competition featured dozens of pitmasters from around the state and the surrounding area in the event’s inaugural year.

The competition, hosted by Krewe of Neptune under the Memphis BBQ Network Circuit, featured live music and judged contestants on various categories in best pulled pork, ribs, pork chops, whole hog, and more.
