Community gathers at prayer rally in honor of Nolan Wells’ birthday
BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- Wednesday would have been Nolan Wells’ 19th birthday. In honor of him, one Biloxi church held a prayer rally.
Greater St. John AME Church was packed as the community stood alongside the Wells-Wonsley family and Civil Rights Attorney Ben Crump to honor Nolan’s life and call for justice in his death.
The night was filled with prayer, singing, and calls for transparency, truth, and accountability as the investigation surrounding Nolan’s death continues.
Many dignitaries were also in attendance including Crump and Spike Lee.
