Community Foundation Assisting Flood Victims

Members of the Gulf Coast Community Foundation also remember the challenges of rebuilding after a natural disaster.
That’s why this local group made the decision to match up to $5,000 of donations to send to our neighbors affected by the recent flooding.
The foundation plans to distribute the funds through grants that will assist with long-term recovery in the affected areas of Louisiana.
Gulf Coast Community Foundation President Robert Wilder said, “It’s not just for those of us here in Mississippi. We have an affinity to Louisiana and South Alabama as well. Folks do step in and help their neighbor when they need it.”
