Community event to support victims

Today, District Attorney Tony Lawrence hosted a community event in Moss Point to support victims, victims services, and crime prevention.

The Informational Fair was held in conjunction with National Victims’ Rights Week with the 2018 theme of “Expand the circle, reach all victims.” Twenty-eight groups were invited to the event, ranging from victim support services to church groups and educational programs.

District Attorney Tony Lawrence, Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell, and Judge Sharon Sigalas spoke at tonight’s event and addressed victims in the community from all walks of life.

This is the 15^th year the District Attorney’s Office put on an event in support of victims.
