Community celebrates National Hot Dog Day in the Bay
The community came out in Bay St. Louis today as the police and fire departments teamed up to host Hot Dog Day in the Bay.
Kids came out to MLK Park to play basketball with the officers. Officer Roy Fullerton said the event was hosted to benefit organizations in the city. “This is an effort that we partner up with the Bay St. Louis Fire Department in order to engage and mentor our young people in the community of Bay St. Louis. It is a complete event for the benefit of the Boy’s and Girl’s Club, Head Start, and any community member. We are just being kids today! Have fun!”
The winner of the hot dog eating contest was Detective Andrew Osbourne with Chief Toby Schwartz coming in second.
