Commissioner Sean Tindell discusses ongoing Nolan Wells investigation

(WXXV)   The death of Ocean Springs teenager Nolan Wells on Horn Island during the Fourth of July holiday weekend has drawn national attention as investigators continue working to determine exactly what happened.

Weeks after Wells’ death, his family says they are still searching for answers, and the investigation remains active.

Attorney Ben Crump, who is representing the Wells family, recently released the findings of an independent autopsy. According to Crump, both the cause of death and manner of death were listed as “undetermined,” leaving significant questions unanswered as investigators await additional forensic findings.

The family is also awaiting the official autopsy report from the Mississippi State Medical Examiner’s Office, which could provide further insight into the circumstances surrounding Wells’ death.

The case has generated widespread public interest and intense scrutiny, with family members, community leaders and supporters calling for transparency throughout the investigative process.
