Comeback Coolers helping Idalia victims

Victims of Hurricane Idalia have a cool treat headed their way.

Comeback Coolers is packing coolers full of sodas, snacks, and beer for rural areas in Georgia and Florida. Ninety-six cases of beer were donated by FEB Distributing and Coca-Cola dropped of plenty of sodas as well.

Each cooler is decorated by locals with encouraging messages. The goal is to show some compassion to people who may feel overlooked. Director of Operations Cathy Wildschuetz said, “You know, we really try to focus where maybe people feel forgotten or don’t feel like they’re getting a lot of press. So, we want to go into those areas and let people know that they’re not forgotten and that we are here and we want to provide them some relief.”
