Collision Kills Former Moss Point Student
An unlicensed, undocumented bus driver hits a fire truck on a Louisiana highway, killing a district fire chief and causing two more accidents that killed a former Moss Point High School student.
According to reports, 21-year-old Jermaine Starr of Moss Point was the second victim killed in the I-10 accident in New Orleans.
Star was sitting in the back of a red Camry. Authorities say the Camry struck a charter bus that had collided into a ladder truck.
The Moss Point School District issued a statement today, saying in part: “Jermaine was a cheerful and funny young man and was known for making his peers smile.”
