College Football Week Six Rewind
Halfway through the college football season and there has been no shortage of upsets no one saw coming.
Teams surpassing all expectations and thrilling finishes that have prompted fans all over to storm fields.
Fresh off back-to-back losses, Texas A&M did the unthinkable. The Aggies ended then number one Alabama’s 100 game winning streak against unranked opponents with a 28-yard field goal off the foot of kicker Seth Small as time expired.
The Tide has now fallen to number five in the rankings and A&M has jumped to 21.
Over in Dallas, number six Oklahoma pulled off the largest comeback in the history of the Red River Showdown, defeating Texas 55-48 on a walk-off 33-yard touchdown run from running back Kennedy Brooks with three seconds on the clock.
In Mississippi, number 17 Ole Miss held off number 13 Arkansas in an instant SEC classic. A shootout until the bitter end, the Rebels took the lead 52-45 with a minute remaining. The Razorbacks responded with a nine play, 75-yard touchdown drive.
Arkansas Head Coach Sam Pittman decides to go for the two-point conversion and the win. However, an incomplete pass hands the win to Ole Miss 52-51.
