Cold-Weather Shelters opening tonight across South Mississippi

Due to anticipated cold weather conditions, counties are announcing the opening of shelters.
Two shelters will open in Harrison County tonight, and subsequent nights as necessary.
- D’Iberville – Kenny Fournier Multipurpose Center – Opens at 4:30 pm • 10395 Automall Parkway, D’Iberville Gulfport
- Salvation Army Center of Hope – Opens at 6:00 pm • 2019 22nd Street, Gulfport

Poplarville Community Saferoom, located at 124 Rodeo Street, will open at 3:00 PM this afternoon as a warming center and remain open until the dangerous cold has passed.
The Picayune Community Saferoom, located at 501 Laurel Street, will be open daily from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
