Cold Weather Shelters opening in three South Mississippi counties this weekend
Due to cold weather conditions this weekend, warming centers in Harrison, Hancock, and Pearl River counties are opening up Saturday and Sunday night.
Those locations are:
- Kenny Fournier Multipurpose Center: 10395 Automall Pkwy, D’iberville. Opens at 4:30 PM both days.
- Salvation Army Center of Hope: 2019 22nd St, Gulfport. Opens at 6 PM both days.
- Kiln Shelter: 18320 Hwy 43, Kiln: Opens at 8 PM Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
- Picayune Community Saferoom: 501 Laurel Street. Opens at 5 PM Saturday
- Pearl River County EOC Building: 810 Hwy 11 South, Poplarville: Opens at 5 PM Saturday.
