Cold weather shelters opening across the Coast

Cold-weather shelters are opening across South Mississippi ahead of the blast of cold temperatures.
In Hancock County, the cold weather shelter at the emergency operations in the Kiln will be open from the hours of 7 p.m. to 8 a.m. each day starting today and running through Thursday.
Two cold weather shelters will open January 15th and January 16th in Harrison County. In D’Iberville, the Kenny Fournier Multipurpose Center will open at 4:30 p.m. That shelter is located at 10395 Automall Parkway.
In Gulfport, the Salvation Army Center of Hope will open at 6 p.m. That shelter is located at 2019 22nd Street in Gulfport.
Coast Transit Authority will provide transportation to the D’Iberville shelter. For information on transportation, contact CTA at 228-896-8080.
