Cold weather shelters opening
In anticipation of cold weather conditions, cold weather shelters will be opening on the Coast.
In Harrison County, the Kenny Fournier Multipurpose Center opens Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. That center is located at 10395 Automall Parkway in D’Iberville.
For anyone needing transportation to the shelter, Coast Transit Authority will be operating buses. Contact CTA at 228-896-8080.

The Hancock County Emergency Management Agency in coordination with the Hancock County Board of Supervisors will open a cold weather shelter on Wednesday, January 3rd. The shelter will open from 8 p.m. until 8 a.m. and is located at the Emergency Operations Center Building at 18333 Highway 603 in the Kiln.
