Coffee with First Responders in Long Beach

The Long Beach Chamber of Commerce hosted Coffee with First Responders at Bankhouse Coffee in Downtown Long Beach.

Law enforcement officials met with the community to better foster a safe environment in the city.

Chamber of Commerce Director Anna Claire Perronne tells us the healthy benefit of the connection between law enforcement and community. “It’s a hard job and it’s so important that the community gets to see them when it’s just not always hard. You know, they see him happy they see them. You know, coming in just being regular everyday humans.”

Long Beach Police Captain Patrick Craig said, “It’s great for us because we want to work on building those community relationships and our partnerships and just bridging a gap between us and the community. We want them to know who we are, that we’re people just like they are and that we’re here to help them.”
