Coat Drive in Gulfport

Amanda and Associates at Coastal Realty Group are asking for the public’s help to make sure no children go cold this winter.

They are hosting a coat drive for the Gulfport School District. People can drop off coats anytime today or tomorrow at the Chick-Fil-A in Gulfport. They are asking for gently used or new jackets, sweaters, and vests for both boys and girls.

Buyers Agent Melinda Calhoun tells News 25 making sure kids stay warm during the winter is something that is close to all of their hearts. “Well, we are all mommas and we all have a special role in our children’s lives so we wanted to do something special for them and make sure that these babies stay warm. We are collecting coats of all sizes from teensy tiny ones to medium, large, kids of all sizes.”

When you drop off a jacket you will also get a free entrée card from Chick-Fil-A.
