Coastal results announced for Mississippi Submerged Competition

St. Patrick High hosted the Submerged Championship, pitting coast and Mississippi schools against each other in Lego robotics competition.

The Sacred Heart Storm out of D’Iberville won third place in the Champion’s Award.

The DMS Cruisers from D’Iberville Middle School took home two awards!

The team earned the Engineering Excellence Award and placed first for Robotic Performance.

Sassy Sirens from D’Iberville Middle School earned second place honors in the Robotics Performance Award!

The Diving Divas from D’Iberville Middle taking home the third place Robot Design Award.

Coast Episcopal out of Long Beach takes third place in the Innovation Project Award.

Out of Ocean Springs, the St. Alphonsus Lightning winning second place in the Core Values Award.

That’s not the only award they won, either.

Virginia Gammon won the Coach/Mentor Award for helping the team out during the journey!

A huge congrats to all the students and teachers who took part in this really cool competition.
