Coastal Mississippi Job Fair took place at MGCCC in Gautier

Coastal Mississippi Job Fair was held at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Gautier to help those looking for employment.

The fair had more than 40 vendors who were seeking to fill positions within their company.

If you were not able to make the event today, the job fair will be at MGCCC’s gym and fitness building in Gulfport tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  It is free to the public.

Organizers are asking that before entering the job fair, applicants answer a quick survey about what job fields people are interested in so they can try to include those businesses in the future.  Adam Todd with MS Department of Employment Security said, “Many individuals will walk out with one, either an opportunity to go to work or they got an additional interview set up for the rest of the week. So, again, being able to interact with someone face to face goes so much further than sitting behind a keyboard sending in a resume somewhere.”
