Coastal Family Health Center Gulfport Clinic invites community appreciation event

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)-Coastal Family Health Center’s Gulfport Clinic is hosting its ‘Just Because’ community appreciation event next month.

The community is invited to enjoy a day of free food, family fun, and community resources. The event takes place Saturday, August 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the East North Gulfport Park.

The event is hosted entirely by the staff of the Gulfport clinic and is a way for them to thank the community for its continued support.

“This event is simply our way of giving back,” said Shanavier Clark, Director of Integrated Behavioral Health Services. “We wanted to create a fun day where families can enjoy a meal, connect with local organizations, and spend time together, all at no cost. It’s our way of showing appreciation to the community we are proud to serve.”
