Coastal Clean Up Event Postponed Until Nov. 16th

This weekend’s weather forecast has prompted organizers of the annual Coastal Clean Up to reschedule the event for another weekend.

The 2019 annual Mississippi Coastal Clean Up was originally scheduled to take place this Saturday, but event organizers say because of the possibility for some tropical rain, they’ve decided to push it back to Saturday, November 16 from 8 to 11am.

Each year, thousands of volunteers throughout South Mississippi join together and spread out along beaches in Hancock, Harrison and Jackson counties to pick up debris and trash on the beaches.
