Coast Transit Authority phasing out hailing system
We’re learning more this week about Coast Transit Authority’s decision to phase out its long-time hailing system.
The system that previously allowed the public to hail a bus from anywhere on its route will end to allow for safer pick-ups.
The system officially ends on October 31. This means starting in November riders will be required to board and exit only at designated bus stops.
