Coast sportsbooks prepare for March Madness bets

Now that the Selection Sunday anticipation is over, March Madness is on the minds of many and lots of bets are set to be made at our Coast sportsbooks.

Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi is offering a March Madness betting experience through its partnership with Bet MGM.

A variety of betting options for sports enthusiasts will be available throughout the tournament, including prop bets.

News 25 spoke with Beau Rivage Bet MGM Sportsbook Manager Carl Johnson on how this time of year brings bettors from all over the Gulf South to the sportsbook. “During March Madness, you got so many schools, so many teams involved. And where we’re located, we’re getting fans from Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, I mean just everywhere. I mean, we’re just in the heart of the SEC.”

Bets can be placed both at the sportsbook counters or at the betting kiosks at the Beau.

Action for the first four teams kicked off today while the round of 64 begins Thursday.
