Coast schools returning to normal operating hours
Now that impacts from Francine have subsided, schools along the Gulf Coast are returning to their normal operating hours. WXXV News 25 will continue to update this list as more information becomes available.
Classes in the Bay Waveland School District will resume Friday, September 13th, 2024.
All schools in the Gulfport School District will reopen and resume normal operating hours on Friday, September 13, 2024.
All schools in the Harrison County School District will reopen on Friday, September 13, 2024.
All schools within the Pearl River County School District will resume classes on normal schedule on Friday, September 13.
Moss Point School District will resume regular schedule on Friday, September 13th.
Classes in the Hancock County School District will resume on Friday, September 13th. Any students unable to attend school due to flooding will be excused.
Ocean Springs School District will return to class Friday, September 13th.
The Pascagoula-Gautier School District will resume classes on Friday, September 13th.
The Pass Christian School District will resume classes on Friday, September 13th.
