Coast families adopting children from Ukraine
A local family, who is adopting a 13-year-old boy from Ukraine, is raising money to help with the adoption process.
News 25 recently spoke with Angie Arguello and two other local families who are also in the process of adopting children from Ukraine.
For Arguello and her husband, the price of bringing their son home is nearly $30,000 in adoption fees that includes the adoption agency, home studies, training and three required trips to the Ukraine.
To help with the fees, Arguello is holding a crawfish combo raffle that comes with a Loco 100-quart boiling kit, party table, and spoon, all valued at $475.
