Coast Electric assisting in power restoration in Florida after Helene

Coast Electric is one of many power companies taking part in relief efforts in areas impacted by Helene.

For a few days now, Coast Electric has been working outside of Jennings, Florida helping to restore power to an area which saw close to 29,000 customers lose electricity.

Several of those affected in that area have started to return home, but according to a Coast Electric operations superintendent, an exact timeline of when repairs will be finished is unclear as damage from Helene is extensive.
