Coast doctor charged in sex crimes in Louisiana

ST. TAMMANY PARISH, La. (WXXV)- A Bay St. Louis doctor was arrested in Louisiana for indecent behavior with juveniles.

Thirty-two-year-old Brandon Bunol is also charged with computer solicitation with a minor and the Louisiana Attorney Generals Office alleges Bunol had inappropriate online communications with a juvenile out of St. Tammany Parish.

This arrest comes after a joint investigation involving the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office and a Louisiana Special Victims Unit Task Force.

According to a press release from Memorial Health System, Bunol joined Memorial’s Coast Cardiovascular Associates Clinic on Broad Avenue in Gulfport in late July as a cardiologist.

He’s currently being held at the St. Tammany Parish Jail.
