Coast Crime Stoppers raising award to help solve Cameron Perryman case

At the beginning of October, family members and Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers raised the reward money for the case of 33-year-old Cameron Perryman from $2,500 to $5,000 in hopes of getting more information.

Perryman, of Lucedale, was last seen alive in the late evening of December 31st, 2020. On January 1st, 2021, Perryman’s body was found seven miles south of McClain off Highway 57 at the Desoto National Forest Roadside Park.

MS Coast Crime Stoppers Coordinator Lori Massey tells News 25 she believes raising reward money will help solve the case. “The information we receive has been sent to the law enforcement agencies. It’s a combined effort between Green County, which is the lead agency, and George County. The MBI is helping.”

Callers can remain anonymous and are eligible to receive a cash reward if the information given leads to a felony arrest or grand jury indictment of a felony offender.
