Coast Crime Stoppers features two ‘missing person’ cases
Today is National Missing Persons Day. Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers is always looking for clues to find missing people from the Coast.
Today, the group is featuring two cold cases on its social media page.
The first missing person is Rebecca Reid. She was 32-years-old at the time of her disappearance. Reid went missing from her home in Lumberton on Lee Town Road in January 2020. Reid left behind the medication she needs to treat medical conditions such as asthma and diabetes.
Reid is described as a white female with black hair, brown eyes, 5’7” tall and weighs about 325 pounds.
Crime Stoppers is also drawing attention to the missing person case of 39-year-old Tessie Temores. The mother of seven was last seen around the Gulfport-Pascagoula area in December of 2019.
News 25 recently spoke to Temores’ oldest sons who are still without answers, pleading for information on their mother’s disappearance.
Temores is described as being 5’5” tall and weighing 150 pounds.
Lori Massey with Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers said, “No matter how small the information someone has or how irrelevant they think their information is, how about contacting law enforcement directly or send a tip to Crime Stoppers and let law enforcement determine if that information is relevant and can possibly help in the case.”
Massey stresses that families deserve answers about their missing loved ones.
If you have information on these cold cases or any others, contact Crime Stoppers or your local law enforcement agency.
