Coast Coliseum Looks to Purchase Land

There was a major announcement today by the Mississippi Coast Coliseum Commission. The Coliseum could soon be purchasing the land next to it on Highway 90.
Coliseum Director Matt McDonnell tells News 25 while they are under contract, they have not closed on the property just yet. The property is still owned by the bank until the deal is closed, which commissioners hope will be sometime in mid-December.
McDonnell says this is the next phase of their master plan to expand the Coliseum and add an on-site hotel to the property.
