Coast Coliseum Executive Director Matt McDonnell to retire after 40 years of service

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- The longtime leader of the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center has announced his retirement.

Matt McDonnell’s retirement is effective in February 2026. McDonnell has worked at the coliseum for four decades, helping to lead the facility through many eras, including expansion projects and the coliseum’s recovery following Hurricane Katrina.
