Closures announced because of winter weather
Several businesses and offices are announcing closings ahead of the winter weather expected this week.
Pascagoula Municipal Court has canceled court hearings on January 22nd due to hazardous traveling conditions. You will receive a letter in the mail with your rescheduled date.
Ochsner clinic appointments and elective procedures scheduled for Tuesday, January 21 are being postponed and will be rescheduled.
Ochsner urgent care locations will close at 7 p.m. on Monday, January 20th, and will remain closed on Tuesday, January 21st.
Lynn Meadows Discovery Center will be closed Tuesday, January 21st and Wednesday, January 22nd.
Keesler Air Force Base will be closed Tuesday, January 21st, and delayed reporting for Wednesday, January 22nd with the base reopening at 12 p.m.
The Business Expo at Biloxi Visitors Center scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed because of the weather. A new date will be announced soon.
The Mississippi Aquarium will be closed Tuesday, January 21st. They will reopen on Wednesday, January 22nd.
Bobby Eleuterius Sports Complex and Rusty Quave Sports Complex in D’Iberville will be closed Monday, January 20th and Tuesday, January 21st.
A Latte Friends coffee shop in D’Iberville will be closed on Tuesday, January 21st.
In Gautier, George Martin City Park restrooms will close Sunday, January 19th at noon and will remain closed until the cold weather passes.

The MS Coast Coliseum administration and box office will be closed on Tuesday, January 21st, and Wednesday, January 22nd.
The Salvation Army Kroc Center will be closed on Tuesday, January 21st.

The Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort announced the casino, hotel, and all venues will close by Midnight tonight due to severe weather.
Rouses announced the Diamondhead and Picayune located will be closed on Tuesday, January 21st. All remaining Mississippi & Alabama locations will close at noon on Tuesday, January 21st.
All locations of Taco Sombrero will be Closed Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
Due to the approaching winter weather, all Jackson-George Regional Library System locations will be closed on Tuesday, January 21.
The Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art will be closed over the next two days, on January 21 & 22. They will open on Thursday, January 23 at 10 AM.

All Gulf Coast Vehicle Health Care System Facilities (Biloxi, Mobile, Pensacola, Eglin, and Panama City Beach) will remain closed today and be closed all day Wednesday 1/22. The current plan is to return to normal operations Thursday January 23rd, but GCVHCS will continue to monitor the weather and provide any further updates.
