Climb CDC Students Graduate
It may have been a long way to the top for this graduating class, but students say it was worth the climb.
The class of 2016 students from Climb Community Development Corporation graduated tonight at the Workforce Institute in Gulfport.
These students participated and completed the center’s workforce training institute programs, giving troubled students a second chance and providing them with life skills, development, job placement and GED training.
CDC student Thomas Hudson says he had to really apply himself in order to get his diploma. He tells News 25 how it feels to graduate. “Wow, I just, it’s like how I envisioned it. When I was younger, I dreamed of this moment and just now it’s kind of like living it. It’s just, wow, it happened so fast. It’s just a really great feeling.”
Families of the graduating class celebrated their achievements after the commencement ceremony inside Café Climb.
