‘Click it or Ticket’ campaign kicks off across the Coast

GULF COAST, Miss. (WXXV)- Police departments across the Gulf Coast are announcing the start of their Click it or Ticket campaign.

The campaign kicked off Monday and is expected to run until June 1.

Importance of wearing a seatbelt as well as the legal consequences are the reasons behind the campaign.

Drivers can also expect an increased law enforcement presence on roads.

There will also be a rise in police enforcement over the weekend as Memorial Day is on Monday.
