Clean up at M&M Bank in Moss Point

As assessments continue, the clean up process begins in Moss Point. Merchants and Marine Bank sustained heavy damage.

There were eight people trapped inside the building during the storm. This morning, an excavator was at the site scraping debris off the roof. The windows and doors also were boarded up.

M&M Bank CFO Casey Hill said no decision has been made on whether to raze the building. They are waiting for an insurance adjustor to decide before more action is taken.

Hill did say that M&M Bank is committed to Moss Point and will remain in the city, whether it is at the current location or in another building.
