Today, the nation’s number one recruit for the class of 2022, Travis Hunter, flipped to JSU from Florida State in a monumental decision that will have ripple effects for years to come.

Hunter had been committed to the Seminoles for 21 months, bringing Deion Sanders’ premonitions to life when he said Tuesday that he would “shock the country.”

The decision has sparked unverified talk of an NIL deal with Barstool Sports and Penn National Gaming, rumored to be in the millions.

A five-star recruit, Hunter is a two-way player that’s been compared to Sanders and will now play for him and the Tigers.
