City of Ocean Springs warns of scam emails

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Ocean Springs is warning residents about a scam email going around.

The city says the emails appear as invoices from the city.

Officials want to remind residents not to share bank details or personal information.

They say the best course of action is to block and delete the email immediately.
