City of Ocean Springs warns against email scam
OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- There’s a scam making the rounds in Ocean Springs.
Emails are being sent out claiming to be from city officials and are asking for invoices to be paid.
City officials urge you to never share banking details or any personal information.
The best course of action is to block and delete the emails immediately.
