City of Ocean Springs shares update on Hanshaw Road Bridge

Ocean Springs, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Ocean Springs has shared an update on the Hanshaw Road Bridge repairs.

The city said that all existing utilities that were attached to the bridge have been addressed.

Work is expected to begin on the bridge on Monday, April 28. Jackson County is estimating that the repairs will take about six weeks.

After the repairs are finished, they will begin working on attaching the necessary utilities back to the bridge.

The state will re-inspect the bridge after all repairs are complete before it can re-open.
