City of Ocean Springs remembers Sgt. Ernest Beaugez
OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- The Ocean Springs Police Department held a ceremony for Sgt. Ernest Beaugez.
His end of watch was May 27, 1954. He was killed as he transported a prisoner.
The city says they remain grateful for the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of the officers and law enforcement professionals who gave their lives in service to the community.
