OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Ocean Springs is recognizing Parks and Rec Month in July.

The proclamation comes from Mayor Bobby Cox during this week’s city council meeting.

Mayor Cox recognizes the Parks and Rec Department provides opportunities for health, wellness, recreation, and community connection.

The proclamation recognizes Director Stephen Glorioso for providing the programs, facilities, and events that serve residents of all ages.
